productive thinning The compact Timberjack 770D harvester is designed for thinnings and harvesting of small-diameter wood. With 100 kN (23 000 lbf) of traction power, it can operate in steep slopes. The 770D is equipped with the Timberjack 742 harvester head, featuring an outstanding power-to-weight ratio to provide the flexibility needed in thinning operations. It also has the Timberjack 3000 measuring and control system and the TMC (Total Machine Control) system. |

Its compact size and tight turning radius make it ideal for first thinnings in narrow corridors. With bogie tracks on the optional wide rear tires and the boom secured over the front of the machine, rear ground pressure is remarkably low, even when the bunk is fully loaded. Boom and bunk length options are available on a regional basis to meet local conditions. |
